Joshua Klausner is a multidisciplinary visual artist, commercial photographer and filmmaker. After graduating from the Cinema School at USC, he worked in music video and feature production before transitioning to commercial branded content involving, video, photography, and fine art. As an illustrator, Joshua trained under legendary animators Karl Gnass and Glenn Villppu at The Animation Guild in Burbank, CA.
After years working for start-ups, big brands, ad agencies and private clients in the multiverse of commercial illustration, storyboarding, cinematography, feature films, fashion photography and influencer content, Josh is now bridging the portal from analog deliverables into block chain art and crypto culture. His work combines the mediums of fine art photography, digital VFX, animation, cinematography and good-old-hand drawn illustration to create unique pieces that could not have existed in another era. In addition to this, he still creates branded content in the worlds of legacy advertising and social media.
In the past, his work has been commissioned by Society 6, Athleta, National Geographic Channel, Merck, Novo Nordisk, Ecos, 3Doodler, Clorox, Temple Run, Dreamworks, Tillamook and Apple.
He has also cowritten and coproduced the profitable indie horror franchise, DEAD SEASON, which aired on Sci-Fi channel and was the #2 streaming title on Netflix the weekend of release. He also co-wrote the sequel, Decade of the Dead, which released on (almost) all streaming platforms in late 2024.
